About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

VISA from Beijing

So if I am travelling to Beijing airport and hoping to get a visa, I don't need to inform the airline previously I can just get it when I arrive? Also, if I want to do a tour of the wall should I book beforehand or can they be found at the airport?

If you want to use the 72 hour free transit in Beijing, you need to inform the airline before you board the plane. After you arrive at Beijing airport, you can follow the direction signs to the transit counter to apply for the free transit.
You’d better book a tour to the Great Wall in advance because there is no direct bus to the Great Wall from the airport.
