About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Question about the stopover visa

Hi Everyone, I would like to travel to Shanghai from Abu Dhabi and then back to Frankfurt (via Abu Dhabi to change planes) on the 6 day free transit. Does the fact that my exit flight from Shanghai will be to Abu Dhabi (from where I take another flight) mean that I am not entitled to use the 3rd region rule?
Thanks for your help.
Christine

Sorry but you can´t apply for the 144h twov.

Your flight is Abu Dhabi - Shanghai - Abi Dhabi and this is against the free transit rules.
