hidden city from beijing airport on stopover

I have a few hours to stay at the airport as I have a 10 h stopover at the airport. Is going to Hidden City from the airport for a couple of hours by metro doable?

Yes, you can go there during 10 hours stopover. From the airport, you can take express train to get to Dongzhimen Station. It takes around half an hour on the way. The ticket fare is CNY 25 per person. Then get a taxi to the destination directly. The cab fare is about CNY 17. Notably, remember to go back to the airport 2 hours in adavance. Have fun!
