Is a Visa needed for a United States passport holder?

The United States (U.S.A.) is listed as one of the countries in this section: Passport Holders of the Following Countries Enjoy Free Access to Macao SAR. Does this mean that a U.S.A. passport holder does not need an entry permit? Thank you.

Allison, if US passport holders enter Macao for tourism or business purposes and stay there for less than 30 days, they don't need the entry permit. Otherwise, they need one too.
