About:China Private Visit Visa

does Family on S2 visa need return ticket?

I have X type entry permit for china. Now I am inviting my family for stay at PRC. Initially s2 type has been issued. later on I will apply for residence permit for them. Does I need return ticket for them?

Shahid, return ticket isn’t needed if your family for S2 type.
Besides, if you want to apply for the residence permit for your family after their entry to PRC, you should apply for S1 type for your family first because if one enters PRC with S2 type, he/she cannot apply for the residence permit.
