Hi SH its depends on which section of the road you would like to cover , if you start from Xi an , Jiayuguan , Dunhuang , Turpan , Kuqa , Hoten , Kashgar all the way up to pakistan border takes about 15dys . if you dont have enough time you could make a shorter silk road trip about 10days could cover Xi an , Jia yu guan , Dunhuang , Turpan , Urumqi , Kashgar .
