72-Hour free transit for crew Members ferrying in an aircraft to Guangzhou?

Good morning! We are a major airline that will be bringing in one of our aircraft into Guangzhou (CAN) China. No passengers will be on board, just crew. Could they use 72-Hour free transit process or do they require the Catagory "C" Crew Visa. Thanks for the review!

Hello, I’m afraid they need to apply for C type entry permit because the 72 hour transit policy requires the confirmed air tickets to a third country or region.
