According to your situation, you can try to apply for S1 type for your parents. It requires those materials containing your parents’ passport and photocopies, the application forms and recent color photos, an invitation letter from you, your passport and photocopy of residence permit, as well as your birth certificate to prove your relationship. And then submit those materials to the embassy of PRC in your country and wait for the result. After getting S1 type, your parents need to change it to residence permit and its validity is related with the validity of your residence permit.
