Visa needed for Philippine Passport Holder? Hong Kong to Guangzhou

Hi! I'm a Philippine Passport holder, I'm planning to take train from HKG to Guangzhou on October 31st, to catch my flight at Baiyun Airport on November 1st, do I need visa entering China, given that I am not staying for more than 24 hours and holding a valid plane ticket transiting China?

For you are going to stay in China no more than 24 hours and having valid ticket to the third destination, you don’t need a visa.
