invitation from a friend to have a vacation in china

I wanted to visit my friend in PRC and have a vacation there..she will send me an invitation letter and she will sponsor everything..i will stay in her place etc..what else do i need to apply for tourist visa?thanks a lot.

You also need to prepare your passport, a copy of the passport's photo page, a completely filled application form affixed with a passort style photo of yours, and a financial standing documents, like your work certificate, salary slip, income tax return, or bank statement of the latest six months.
