About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Can I take advantage of 72 hour visa free transit?

On 8 Dec 2015 I fly from London to HK and straight onto Xian. I leave from Xian to Auckland on 10 Dec again via Hong Kong.
On 9 Jan 2016 I return from Auckland to Beijing via HK. My return to London (via HK) is on 12 January.

Sorry, both routes are not eligible for 72-hour free transit because you fly from Hong Kong to mainland and then back to HK.
