I am Ali (Pakistani Citizen) My passport validity is now less than 06 months, and my Visa will expire in 17 th June 2015, Now I need to renew my passport from Shanghai Pakistan Consulate and want to know the documents requirements for renewal and fees.

It costs CNY 265 for passport renewal. You should bring these documents:1. filled passport application form.2. orginal and copies of your current passport (first two pages).3. original and photocopy of computerized National Identity Card or National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis (NICOP)4. Residence Permit or valid visa.5. Four latest photographs not more than six months old.Your consulate didn't specify how long it takes to renew your passport. However, your embassy claims that applicants are suggested to renew at least one month in advance before their passport expires. Urgent application needs 8 days.
