I will be arriving to Beijing central railway station and would like to take a taxi to Haidian District near summer palace.

Well, the distance is about 15 miles the cab fare is CNY 90 to 100 in the day time.Or you can change the transportation. From the railway station, take subway line 2 to Xizhimen Station. Then transfer to line 4 to Beigongmen Station (north gate of the summer palace), Exit A1. The ticket fare is CNY 6 per person. And the travel time is around 50 mins.
