weather in mid september in taiwan

Hi I am planning to go during mid September 15. Will be travelling with kids & elderly. Is it a monsoon period? What is the weather like? Thanks.

Yes, it is monsoon climate, and it will be hot and windy at that time. The average temp is about 82 F. There will be some light rainfall, too. Do prepare light rain gear in case.
