About:Chinese Embassy in Ethiopia

Am Ethiopian, working in mainland china. Had a residence permit. Do i still need visa for Hong Kong?

I am currently working in mainland, had a residence permit (I am a teacher in international school).
Do i need a transit type if i want to go to Shenzhen via Hong Kong?

Netsanet, only if you are in direct transit by air or you do not intend to leave the airport transit area, the HK transit permit is not required.
