Need itinerary for June 20th to 23rd which is dragon boat festival wanted to visit Great Wall and markets like the silk market for fabric and souvenirs will these places be open  ? What is a good reasonable area to find a hotel close to transport to markets etc?  what is great to do during the dragon boat festival?

First of all, I'd like to tell you that all the markets and attractions in the city are open during that holiday. Relax! Apart from the destinations you mentioned, the Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Wangfujing Pedestrian also should not be missed. According to the routine, some interesting activities of the Dragon Boat may be held at Taoranting Park, Shichahai Park or Yuyuantan Park. You can also go for fun. For accommodation, you can stay in a hotel in Dongcheng District near Wangfujing or Dongzhimen.
