Whats the best way to travel from Guangzhou to Xiantan

By Xiantan, I guess you mean Xiangtan, right?
There is a G train (G6152) from GZ South to Xiangtan North . It takes less than 3.5h. Besides, some ordinary trains can also take you to travel and they take 8-9h.
