Alison, mongolians live on the grassland. The climate and weather conditions have great effect on their lives. Compared with those people who lived in central China, Mongolians lived harder life. Perhaps, they invaded central China because they wanted to live a better life. Just my analysis.

No, they have nothing to invade with, they still live primitive lives in the grasslands, If they did, why is no culture, evidence or artifacts left behind as we see from other conquests or colonisation: Spainians in America, French language in African countries.. etc..,

According to historians, the Mongols invaded china for its riches. They also wanted to make a trading post near the yellow river but the Chinese did not let them enter, so they fought to show their power.
