travelling to xiling snow mountain

A family of 4 (including 2 kids), planning a holiday to Xiling snow mountain in January 2015. Can anyone offer advice on  :1. transport options from Dorsett Grand to Xiling 2. A comfortable Hotel at Xiling

1. I suggest you take a taxi from your hotel to Xinnanmen Bus Station. There you can take a direct bus to the snow mountain. Buses for the trip are scheduled at 08:30, 08:50 and 09:30, so go there early.2. I know there is a Flowery Bay Hotel (Hua Shui Wan Hotel) at the foot of the mountain and it is convenient to go to the scenic area. But the price is a little high.
