xi'an rail ticket

Hi, I am thinking of traveling to Xi'an from Beijing on Sep30th and return on Oct2nd. I just found out that this is going to be one of the busiest time of year. With that being said, If I buy tickets for fast train on your website, am I guaranteed to have seats reserved for me(VIP class), or it could be cancelled?
