About:Chinese Embassies and Consulates

UK Citizan from UK to Hong Kong and then Peking

Hi there I fly Birmingham (UK) To Hong Kong and change planes in Peking.I can have a stopover on outbound flight do I qualify for the 72 hour visa?

You mean you fly like UK - Beijing - Hong Kong?
If so, if you stay in Beijing airport for no more than 72 hours, you can enjoy the 72-hour free transit. Please do not worry.
