4 days trip macau-beijing-hong kong

Hi. I have a few questions. I knew that a Malaysia passport holder, no need a visa to enter HK and Macau. But if I'm planning to go to BJ, do I need Visa? I will going to BJ for day trip, backpacking alone, it just for 1 day and I found it such a troublesome to do a visa. Is there any other option? Like tourist L visa or VOA?

You are right that you need a visa to tour this city. You can fly from Macau to a city in Korea or Japan and then transfer in BJ within 24h for a visit. After that, take a plane to Hk. In this way, no visa is needed, but complicated. By contrast, it seems more convenient to directly apply for a visa.
