It was Zhu Yuanzhang. He was born in a poor family. When he was young, he pastured cattle for the landowners. Later, he became a monk at a temple and joined the rebellion army to overthrow the Yuan Dynasty. Finally, he succeeded and became the founder of the Ming Dynasty.
