Holidays / Festival on Lord Budha BirthDay

I am Ashok from India, planning to visit Hangzhou in the mid of May 2014, The Birth Day of Lord Budha according to Indian calendar falls on May 14, 2014. I would like to know about the Holiday or Holidays in China for the Festival Celebration etc. in work places i.e offices / factories. The details answer will help me to finalize my tour planning. Thanks

Ashok, there will be no celebrations in working places, offices or factories. It's a big day for Buddhist disciples. If you are really interested, you may visit some temples on that day. The monks might hold celebrations for Lord Buddha.
