about q1 visa

Hi all,I am a businessman .live in china Zhejiang Yiwu. I have ( z ) visa .so my family is now in china on q1 visa stay 180 days .my question is if the visa valid time is expire so can i extend the visa before the expire ? Please give me the advice for this case because on 1 year entry exit & entry is very problem for me. Can the q1 visa be extended?Thanks + regard

Yes, you can go to the local entry and exit administration bureau or department to apply for the extension. Please remember that the extension should be submit 30 days before your current resident permit expires.
