Chinese tourist visa Indian passport holder in Bangkok.

Hi,
I'm Indian passport holder, currently entered Bangkok on a long stay L type for 60 days. I am hoping to catch the trans Siberian train. I have got visas for Mongolia and will get another one for Russia from there. Can I apply for a Chinese one in Bangkok? If yes what type and what's the process..

Thanks.

You should apply for a transit type if you can get it in Bangkok. I think you should confirm this with the Chinese embassy in Bangkok. According to the new rules, the applicants apply in the third country must provide the resident permit for employment or study or other legal status proof. I don't know if you can apply for it since you don't have the resident permit.
