As i know Chinese New Year falls on 31 january 2014. I am coming back to do the Z visa employment pass. Please do reply me asap due to I need to book my flight in advance.Thanks

Edward, It might vary from place to place. Some Chinese embassies are closed for five days while some are closed for three days. If you are really in a hurry, I think you assume that it is closed during all seven days holiday (Jan. 30 to Feb. 5) since the holiday notice is not published yet.
