7 days Xian tour

I'm planning a 7 days trip to that city in Sept/Oct. Is it too long? I considering doing Mt Huashan, Longmen Grottoes & Shaolin. I was considering Hukou waterfall but read that it is not worth the travelling time. Is it true? Is there any other attraction that's worth a visit as well? T

Yes, I think 7 days are so long for visiting the city. I think three days are enough for the major attractions nearby.
Then you can spend one day to Mt. Hua and two days to visit Shaolin and Longmen Grottoes in Luoyang.
I think the Hukou waterfall is just so so. September to October is a good time to see it, because there is plenty of water.
In my opinion, if you climb the Mt. Hua, I think you may need about one day to have a rest, so I think you can stay in the city proper and enjoy the local delicious food there.
