Visa by registered mail?

Is it possible for a foreigner (Danish citizen) living permanently in Thailand to obtain a tourist visa to China by mail from the Chinese Embassy i Bangkok? As I live 3 hours drive from Bangkok it is quite inconvenient to have to travel to Bangkok twice to apply and to pick up.

Hi, as I know, the embassy itself does not accept mail application. But you can mail it to someone else entrusted if you can not go in person.
