jewellery wholesalers closed for how long during chinese new year?

Hello,I shop in Guangzhou for wholesale Jewellery - when will the wholesale markets be closed for Chinese New Year?Can I work on closed between 9-15 February or do they close even before that, or open even later than that?Am coming a long way from South Africa and don't want to waste my trip :-)

As I know, the wholesale market is close during the Chinese Spring Festival, from Feb. 9 to Feb. 15. Generally, some of the stores may close a little earlier and open a little late, but the whole market will open on Feb. 16.
