scuse me, is there someone who can let me know the timetable of busses from mianyang in september? We will have to book the train, so we need to know if we also have to book an hostel (we are students, we have to plan everything to make it as cheap as possible) thank you!

The departing time is from 06:20 to 12:30 during Sep. For booking hotels, where do you want to book the hotels?If for the valley, if want to spend a lot of time there, you need to book one. According to my experience, you may need about two days to get a close look of the valley.
