Hi, under its influence, people all think that tolerance with others is a sort of morality, by which their life could be stable and happy. The content of respecting the seniors makes people pay great respect to the seniors and to look after the parents has been the tradition and duty.

For the historical influence, since the appearence of the Confucianism, many warfare was avoided in China's history to leave a peaceful environment of the masses. And very specific ruling theories were also widely used by the emperors in ancient China.
