Has everyone need to undergo an interview before getting a Chinese Z Visa?

Hi, I have applied for a Z Visa this morning at the Chinese Embassy in Manila. The lady at the window gave me a pink slip and she said that I'll return to the embassy on Tuesday which is exactly the 4th working day from the time I submitted my documents. Shall I expect a call from them for an interview because I have my ticket going to Mindanao on Saturday and I plan to have the it to pick up by my friend. What do you think? Has everyone undergo an interview before getting a Z? I appreciate your immediate respose. Thank you!
