Can a UK citizen traveling from the USA get a Chinese visa at the port of entry

It is hard to get a Chinese visa at the port of entry, please obtain a China visa in advance. If your first entry port is Sanya or Haikou in Hainan Island, you can get a 30 days tourist visa on arrival. If you only visit one of the following cities, it is also possible for you to get a visa on arrival, Shenzhen (5 days at most), Zhuhai (3 days at most), Xiamen (5 days at most)
