About:China Visa Application in USA

what's the difference between double entry valid for 6 mos. vs multiple entry valed for 6 mos?

Both the visas will be valid for 6 months beginning the issuing date. A double-entry visa will allow you to enter China twice while a multiple-entry visa allow you to enter China unlimitedly within the validity period.
BTY, each entry has a duration of stay, usually 2 months.
