What are the requirements for a Chinese national to visit HK as a tourist?

Chinese national should have an Exit-entry Permit for Travelling to and from Hong Kong and Macao. But if you are in US now, you can apply for a China travel document (like the said permit) with your Chinese passport from Chinese embassy or consulate which holds consular jurisdiction of your residence.
