flights from xian to dyg, then from dyg to hong kong

Question

Next July we want to fly to Beijing, go by train to Xian to see the Terra Cotta warriors, then fly to DYG to do the cable car up Tianmen mountain. We want to go from there to Hong Kong for a connecting flight back to our home in the United States.

From Xian to Zhangjiajie, two direct flights are operating daily. But there are no direct flights available from Zhangjiajie to Hong Kong. You could take one flight to Guangzhou first and then to Hong Kong airport by a bus directly.
