About:Chinese Embassies in Asia

I am going to Shanghai for 3 days and then cruising for 9 days before returning to Shanghai and my flight home, Will I need a double entry visa?

Can you tell me the travel itinerary of the cruise? If the 9 days cruise is within Mainland China, such as yangtze River Cruise, a single-entry visa is sufficient.
