About:Chinese Consulate in Sydney

Hi,
I am holding Australian Passport, I want to go China for holiday for 2 weeks. Do I need visa? How long it will process the application? When should i booking the travel ticket? What document do I need? Thanks.

Yes, you need a visa to China for 2 weeks holiday, it takes 4 business days to process the application, you can book the ticket after you get the China visa. The requirements for China tourist visa application are:
1. your passport
2. one passport photo
3. one filled visa application form
4. If it is the first time for you to apply for China visa, you also need to provide copies of photo page of your current passport as well as other ID, e.g. previous passport, driver license, etc.
