About:China Customs Declaration

I'm thinking on heading to China for a work term and I was wondering about bringing personal items into China--specifically something like a ps3. Could there be any problems bringing something like that into China and back to Canada? I'd hate to lose something going through customs, especially something that's just for entertainment and relatively expensive to boot.

If it is unpackaged and used, and you will take only one with you, I don't think there will be any problem.
