About:Chinese Embassy in South Korea

I will be traveling with my family from Seoul to Beijing to Canada. We are only transferring planes in Beijing. My wife is from the Philippines and my son has a Canadian passport. We are traveling on one-way tickets. Do we need visas to transfer planes or not?

If the one-way tickets are through ticket (Seoul- Beijing, Beijing-Canada) and have booked seats on international airliners and remain at the airport for less than 24 hours transit, you don't need a visa.
