About:Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station

Do you need reservations first in order to purchase D-train tickets from Shanghai to Beijing in early November?

Do they accept credit cards at the English ticket window at Hongqiao Railroad Station or Shanghai Railroad Station?

I note ticket vending machines only accept cash. Do they have machines in English?

I look forward to your response. Thanks.

Mostly you need to book train ticket in advance since it might be uneasy to get a ticket on the spot.

They don't accept credit card at railway stations, only cash acceptable.

Yes, these D-train ticket vending machines do have English version. You could use them easily~

Good luck!
