Hi, I will travel to Taiwan in the coming January 2011. Will the weather be too cold? I am afraid my daughter aged 3 could not take it. Will long sleeve cloth with jacket enough for her? Should I buy warm coat or wool jacket? Where are the must-visit places and must-buy things in Taiwan?

Hi, it will not be too cold. Long sleeved cloth with jacket are OK. You can also bring one warm coat for her in case of the weather change. Travelling in Taiwan, you should not miss Ali Mountain, Mt. Yangming and Sun Moon Lake. For shopping, you should not miss Dong Ding Oolong Tea, Oil-paper Umbrella and Sausage from Tainan, oyster cooked with local flavors from Changhua and Chiayi.
