About:Embassy & Consulates of Mongolia in China

Dear Ambassdor of Mongolia,
Atten. Visa Office

I am a New Zealander living in Tianjin. I would like to travel to Ulaanbaatar by train from Beijing. Do I need to apply for a visa in advance or am I able to get traveler permit when I arrive? How long does the visa application usually take? And do I need to be invited to Mongolia first.

Thank you for any help that yu caan give me.
Kind regards
Joshua

You need to apply for a Mongolian visa in advance from Mongolia Embassy in Beijing. it takes 5 working days for visa processing. You need to get an invitation of the receiving entity (state, government, non-governmental organization, business entity)in Mongolia.
