dear mam/siri am in shanghai now i want see a local tour of shanghai i am staying in howard jhonson ,1155 yanan rd1 where do i get site seeing buses with english guide.how much they charge per day2i want to vist east nanjing rd.which bus should i take or which subway station3 where do i find cheapist local markets. how to visit there

Hi, you can go to Jinjiang Hotel or People's Square to take Jinjiang Sightseeing  bus. The route connects popular sights in the downtown area, including People's Square, Oriental Pearl TV Tower, Yuyuan Garden, and the Bund. The bus fare is CNY18 and the ticket is valid for the day of issue.   However, I am not sure weather it has English guide, you'd better ask for a local people to confirm this. You can walk about ten minutes to Jiangsu Lu to take subway Line2 to Nanjing Road. What kind of local market will you want to visit? There is a cheap clothing market at Qipu Lu. Subway 10 can take you to Qipu Lu.
