Hi, i will be traveling to Hong Kong with my husband and 4 yr old child. we will be arriving at 1:00 am and would like to ask if its safe to get a taxi from the airport and how much would they normally charge going to Dorett Seaview hotel in Yau Ma Tei. And our other options just incase taking a taxi would be expensive and if we can have a cheaper alternative.

Taking the Hong Kong ferry to Macau, from the port, do you have an idea of where to go, to take free shuttle bus rides going to Macau's tourist spots? How long would the ferry trip from HK to Macau take?

Thank you very much :-)

The taxi fare is about 230HKD, additional 5HKD for every single piece of luggage. Cheaper option is night bus N21. It stops at Pitt Street, Wing Sing Lane, Nanthan Road. Choose the nearest stop to your hotel. Price, 23HKD per person. Half the price for your 4-yr-old baby. It takes about one hour from Hong Kong to Macau by ferry. You can take the free shuttle bus to Hotel Lisboa. See the casino by the way. Then walk about 15 minutes to Senado Square. Many historic sites and shopping places around here. For the free bus is available every half a hour and you have walk after getting off, you can just take bus 10, 3, or others to 新馬路Avenida de Almeida Ribeiro directly. Senado Square is next to it.
