About:Chinese Embassy in U.S.A.

Hello,

I have a US passport and was wondering if you could tell me what happens if, after i book a our, get the appropriate entry permit, and then arrive in Tibet, but decide to extend my tour or do another one as well. Do i have to apply for a new e try permit? Are the permits necked daily or at regular checkpoints? Can i get in trouble if I am doing a different tour than the original one planned?

Thank you for your help!

Sarah

Ms.Sarah, if you won't go the places that is not open to foreigners, your Tibet Entry Permit won't be checked. However, it is advisable to follow your itineray written on the entry permit.
