Hello
please can someone help me. I need to be at Pudong Airport by 4:30am on Wednesday morning. I am leaving from Wuxi on Tuesday, but can only leave about 19:00, after work. What would be the best option for me, (and the cheapest, as taxis can be expensive!!)

Should I get a train to Shanghai, then take the metro to the airport area, and find a cheap place to stay the night?
My question being though, what time does the metro stop running? Will I be able to get the metro at that time of night, and will I be able to get all the way to Pudong airport; on which line?? Also, I have looked online and there only seem to be two places to stay near the airport; are there any cheap/budget accommodations or hostels in the area.

Or would it be better to stay near the railway and find a cheap place that offers a shuttle to the airport at 4 in the morning?! Also, what time does the metro start in the morning? Thanks in advance for any help. This site has REALLY helped me in many trips around China.
