I am an Indian National travelling with a British national to Vietnam from Dubai. We will be transiting through Guangzhou Baiyun airport for less than 24 hours on our way to Hanoi (Flight details: Dubai-Guangzhou-Hanoi on China southern airlines) without leaving the airport.Do we need to apply for a transit visa or can we transit with no visa?would greatly appreciate any info ThanksRAC

You do not need a visa for the transit in the Guangdong Baiyun Airport becasue the stopover is less than 24 hours and you will not leave the airport.
