Is it worthwhile for a family of 4 to stay in Disneyland Hotel for three days and explore Hong kong for 2 days while based in Disneyland and enjoy the park for one day or should we stay just one night in the park and stay two nights in hong kong proper?

The park is worthwhile a day and you can work out a plan to filful the other two days in Hong Kong. Maybe go to see the Victoria Peak, the Repulse Bay, Aberdeen and Stanley Market.
